John Boys Farm was established to fulfill a childhood dream of being a farmer.

I had an itch to try my luck at animal husbandry.

My idea was very idealistic to say the least.

I later learned there was no other way to go because without controlling the process from the beginning to the end there is no way to produce the finest product you can eat.

Genetics, feed, water, environment are just a few of the major factors in producing high quality meat products.

My idea was not the smartest but that idealistic approach taught me well on how my farm should be managed.

To be honest, my animals actually taught me how they should be raised.
